Welcome to Froggie's Pond!

Froggie's Pond is a Michigan Based 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization. We provide long term sanctuary for Stray and Unwanted cats that have been diagnosed with FeLV (Feline Leukemia) and/or FIV (Feline AIDS). We are a volunteer run organization founded completely by our supporter's donations.

If you include your name and address in the coments section of the donation form we can send you a tax receipt and place you on our mailing list if you would like.  (Your address will be held confidential and used for Froggie's Pond mailings and correspondence only)

 


Currently our mission only encompass Battle Creek, Michigan and some surrounding areas. We are limited in housing space and our sanctuary is currently FULL.

2009 has been a difficult year. In February we celebrated the birth of our daughter Olivia , only to be confronted with some insurmountable medical issues leading to her passing in August 2009. Needless to say everything in our lives took a backseat to our Daughter's well being. Therefore we were not able to hold any of the planned fundraisers in 2009. We plan to hold a Spring 2010 Garage Sale among other events in 2010. Yet we are still up and running, we get calls every week from all over the country to take in FeLV/FIV cats into our Sanctuary. During 2009 we have added a couple of cats   but also lost a couple longer term residents. We still remain at FULL Capacity in our current Sanctuary arangement.

 

Froggie's Pond is working with the Calhoun County Animal Coalition for a "No Kill" Community.
